Bartels Hardware and Service, INC. is a retail business offering much more than just hardware. It is located one block off the Mississippi River on main street, occupying five historic buildings – all with the original hardwood floors, tin ceilings, and other unique memories from years past.
The current owners, Bill and Susan Bartels, are the third generation to own and operate the store, which was originally started in 1920 by Bill’s grandfather and uncle – Brothers, Bill and Al Kehr. For more than 90 years, the business has expanded and changed to meet the needs of their customers.
